Russian Stainless Steel Exports Fell 11.5%
According to an expert estimate by SpetsStal Association, Russian exports of main types of stainless steel products in May 2012, compared to the previous month, decreased 11.5% to 452 tons.
Over the period from January to May 2012, compared to the equal period of 2011, Russian exports of stainless steel rose 10.5% to 2902 tons.
To remind, the volume of stainles steel imports for the same period equated to 86,802 tons.
A detailed analysis of the state and prospects for the Russian stainless steel market will be presented at the upcoming 2nd International Conference 'Stainless Steel for Modern Russia' which will be held in Moscow on 17 October 2012.
