Russian stainless steel imports in 2021
According to an estimate by SpetsStal Association, the volume of Russian stainless steel import in 2021, if compared with 2020, increased by 20.8% to 463.04 kt (000’ tons).
Expenses of Russian importers decreased by 42.3% to 1 299.1 Mill US dollars.
Imports of CR flat-rolled products increased by 33.6%, HR flat-rolled products – by 4.2%, bars/rods products – by 13.7% and wire – by 16.1%.
Imports of seamless tubes decreased by 6.7%, welded tubes – by 17.1% and slabs/ingots – by 3.1%.
