Russia’s Stainless Steel Wire Output in 1H 2011
In 1H 2011, if compared to 2010’s equal period, the overall output of stainless steel wire decreased 30.9% to 1311 tons.
\r\nThe main local producers of STS wire in 1H 2011 are:
\r\n- Izhstal – 1036 ton or 79.0% out of the overall output. In ½ 2010 - 1652 tons (87.1%)
\r\n- MZ Electrostal – 275 tons (12.9%). In ½ 2010 - 244 tons (12.9%).
\r\nIt is worth mentioning that there is a lack of data regarding the output of STS wire at Beloretsky Plant and Serp-i-Molot Plant.
