Stainless Steel Imports to Russia Rose 25.2% in May
According to an expert appraisal by SpetsStal Association, stainless steel imports to Russia in May 2011, on April, rose 25.2% to 24554 tons. Imports of stainless steel flats rose 36.1%, longs - 35.2% and wire - 2.5%. Imports of seamless tubes declined 13.1%, welded tubes – 9,6%, while imports of slabs and ingots shrunk almost three times.
