Stainless Steel Company Rating. Results 2010
The year of 2010 can be surely called as successful for the Russian stainless steel market. Market players have not only fought back their lost positions but also increased volumes of consumption and sales, as compared with the pre-crisis period. According to a tentative appraisal by Spetsstal Association, stainless steel consumption in 2010, on 2009, has risen 62.5% to ~312 thousand tons. Comparing with 2008, stainless steel consumption has grown 4.0%.
\r\nSpetsstal Association conducts monthly business activity analysis and market monitors with appraising market players by such criteria as: sales volumes, business publicity and transparency, regional coverage, stock reserves, services, number of personnel, product assortment, foreign activities, number of permanent customers, business reputation, gains in tenders and contests.
