Russia’s Stainless Steel Flat Output Grew 78.9%
Spetsstal confirms that in the first half of 2010, if compared to the same period of 2009, Russia’s output of stainless steel flat products grew 78.9% to 29,219 tons. The breakdown of output figures gives the share of hot-rolled and cold-rolled produce at 62.5% 37.5% respectively.
The share of nickel-content produce in the total produced volume is 89.2%
Despite the success (comparing to 2009), still 2010’s output lags behind 2008’s levels by 14.3%. To remind, in the first half of 2008, output of the given products was 34,095 tons.
