Russia\'s stainless steel exports keep on falling
Over the past years Russian exports of stainless steel have been facing a strong falling trend.
\r\nThe share of exports in the aggregate output of stainless steel in Russia keeps on falling stably. According to Spetsstal Association, over the first four months of 2008, as compared to the same period of 2007, the volume of exports of Russian stainless steel feel 25.3% to 3865 tons.
\r\nWith all that going on, the share of the exports in the whole output fell 11.4% to 7.7%.

The structure of Russian stainless steel exports comprises 53.2% of flats, 23.9% of longs, 8.6% of seamless tubes, 11% of forged pieces and 2.8% of welded tubes.

The key consumers of Russian-made stainless steel still remain the CIS whose consumption share amounts to 87% out of the overall exports of stainless steel.
