Russia\'s inner market prices start going down
After a major rise of the price for stainless steel, Russia"s inner market is facing a price decreasing trend. As a result for October 2007, as opposed to September, the prices for CR flat products went down:
\r\n- AISI 304 2B (08X18H9) by 4.38% - 172300 rubles/ton incl. VAT,
- AISI 321 2B (08X18H10T) by 1.71% - 189096 rubles/ton incl. VAT,
- AISI 304 2B (08X18H9) by 7.4% - 72783 rubles/ton incl. VAT.
According to Spetsstal"s appraisal, in November and December end users can count on a further price cutting by 3.5-7%. The forecast price decrease will be connected with the coming period of the conclusion of long-term supply contracts for 2008.
