The Russian Federation Government Enactment №95 of February 17, 2007 (Moscow) on imposition of protective measures in favor of Russian producers of nickel-bearing steel products

In order to protect economic interests of Russian nickel-bearing steel producers, basing on the Federal Law ‘On special protective, antidumping and compensatory measures over imports of commodities’, the Government of the Russian Federation has issued the following enactment:

1. Impose an antidumping duty in the amount of 0.84 EURO per net kilo for as long as three-year period on corrosion-resistant flat-rolled steel with a nickel content of 2.5% and over, with the following HS classification (TN VED): 7219 11 000 0, 7219 12 100 0, 7219 21 100 9, 7219 22 100 9, 7219 23 000 9, 7219 24 000 9, 7219 31 000 0, 7219 32 100 9, 7219 33 100 9, 7219 34 100 9, 7219 35 100 0, 7219 90 200 0, 7219 90 800 9, 7220 11 000 9, 7220 12 000 0, 7220 20 210 0, 7220 20 410 0, 7220 20 810 0, 7220 90 200 0, 7220 90 800 0 (hereinafter referred to as ‘commodity’), originated from EU countries and imported within the customs territory of the Russian Federation.

2. The Federal Customs Service shall arrange due collection of duties according to Russia’s TN VED classification of imported products.

3. The Ministry for Economic Development and Trade shall duly notify the EU Commission on the imposition of the antidumping duty over EU imports.

4. The present decree shall come into force one month after the date of its official publication.
