Wrapping up 2006 and wishing everyone a Happy New!
Summing up the results for the ending year of 2006, we can confidently say that the Russian market for stainless and special has been experiencing a record rise in imports (by somewhat 10%) and in the local output (around 20%). The figures convince us to expect a further rise in 2007.
Stainless steel is no more a rarely used material in Russia; it finds its application in almost everywhere - in newly-built malls, underpasses, metro stations, bus shelters, interior settings, kitchens, souvenirs etc. All this makes us believe Russia is the country where the latest innovations are especially welcome and, in fact, gain popularity and become fashionable.
The Spetsstal Association will keep on carrying out the mission of developing the markets for stainless and special steels in Russia. We invite everyone to use the benefits of cooperation with Russian companies while Spetsstal is ready to assist in setting up business relationships.
