Russia stainless steel imports in November 2017

According to an estimate by SpetsStal Association, the volume of Russian stainless steel import in November 2017, compared with October, decreased by 3.4% to 29,712 tons.
Imports of CR flat-rolled products decreased by 2.8% to 17,043 tons, HR flat-rolled products - by 30.7% to 5,084 tons, seamless tubes - by 13.2% to 1,086 tons, wire – by 37.9% to 525 tons, fittings/flanges – by 3.3% to 402 tons and slabs/ingots - by 76.3% to 96 tons. Import of welded tubes has not changed – 2,247 tons.
Import of bars/rods rose by 15.6% to 2,508 tons

The Russian stainless steel import in 2017 will exceed 365 thousand tons, while the total costs of Russian importers will exceed USD 1 billion.
