Russian Stainless Steel Imports rose 33.2%
According to Spetsstal’s appraisal, imports of stainless steel to Russia in the first quarter of 2016, if compared to the same period of 2015, increase 33.2% to 58,327 tons.
Imports of stainless steel flats rose by 33.3% to 46,237 tons, longs – by 26.3% to 4,245 tons, wire – by 58.9% to 1,456 tons, seamless tubes – by 80.8% to 2,975 tons,
welded tubes - by 5.9% to 2,975 tons and slabs/ingots – by 24.2% to 474 tons.
