Russia's stainless steel imports in November 2015
According to an estimate by SpetsStal Association, the volume of Russian stainless steel import in November 2015, compared with October, decreased by 14.5% to 21,204 tons.
Imports of flat-rolled products decreased by 16.2%, seamless tubes - by 47.3%, welded tubes - by 33.7% and slabs/ingots - by 77.9%.
However, imports of bars/rods rose by 20.2% and wire - by 24.5%.
Over Jan-Nov 2015, compared with the same period of 2014, stainless steel imports decreased by 9.9% to 210,736 tons.
