Russia's stainless steel imports decreased 4.6%
According to SpetsStal's appraisal, the volume of Russian stainless steel import in October 2015, compared with September, decreased by 4.6% to 24,759 tons.
Imports of flat-rolled products decreased by 5.3%, wire - by 2.3%, seamless tubes - by 22.3%, slabs/ingots - by 55.0%.
However, imports of bars/rods rose by 12.0% and welded tubes - by 8.3%.
Over Jan-Oct 2015, compared with the same period of 2014, stainless steel imports decreased by 12.3% to 192,502 tons (in US$ Mill 576.27).
