Russia's stainless steel imports in October 2015
According to an estimate by SpetsStal Association, the volume of Russian stainless steel exports in October 2015, compared to the previous month, decreased 19.7% to 350 tons.
Exports of stainless steel flat-rolled products decreased by 30.4%, seamless tubes - by 23,0% and welded tubes - by 53.3%.
Exports of long products increased by 4.5% and wire - by 350%.
Over the period from Jan till Oct 2015, compared with the equal period of 2014, the volume of Russia stainless steel exports decreased by 47.0% to 3,960 tons.
To remind, the volume of stainless steel imports for the same period equated to 192,502 tons.
Stainless steel scrap
The volume of Russia's stainless steel scrap exports in the period from Jan till Nov 2015, compared with the equal period of 2014, the aggregate volume of Russia's stainless steel scrap exports fell 16.2% to 86,298 tons.
