Russian stainless steel imports in 2014
According to experts of SpetsStal Association, in 2014, Russian imports of major stainless steel products increased by 0.7% to 253,389 tons compared to 2013.
Imports of flat products increased by 5.6% to 190,418 tons, long products - by 10.6% to 29,075 tons and wire - by 20.1% to 4,418 tons.
Imports of seamless tubes decreased by 36.0% to 14,090 tons, welded tubes – by 18.8% to 12,508 tons and slabs/ingots - by 26.7% to 2,880 tons.
