Russia's stainless steel exports on the rise
According to an expert appraisal by SpetsStal, Russia's exports of stainless steel products in January 2014, compared with the equal period in 2013, rose 51.3% to 731 tons.
Exports of stainless steel flats rose 169.0%, longs - +111.6% and welded tubes - +200%.
Exports of stainless steel wire dropped 62.5%, seamless tubes - -33.9% and slabs/ingots - -10.0%.
