Russia hits a new record in volumes of stainless steel imports
According to SpetsStal's appraisal, the import of stainless steel in 2013, compared with 2013, rose 5.1% to 251.6 thousand tons. Imports of stainless steel flats increased 5.8%, seamless tubes - 8.9%, welded tubes - 10.4% and slabs/ingots - 39.8%.
In contrast, imports of stainless steel longs and wire decreased 0.3% and 34.4% respectively.
