Russia's stainless steel imports rise 5.6% in Sep 2013
According to SpetsStal's appraisal, the volume of stainless steel imports to Russia in September 2013, compared with August, rose 5.6% to 20,339 tons. Imports of flat-rolled products rose 8.3%, longs - 32.2% and seamless tubes - 11,2%. However, imports of wire decreased 38.2%, welded tubes - 24.4% and slabs/ingots - 68.6%. Over Jan-Sep 2013, compared with the equal period of 2012, stainless steel imports rose 7.1% to 177,591 tons.
