Russia's stainless steel exports fell in July
According to SpetsStal's latest appraisal, the volume of stainless steel exports in July 2013, if compared with June, fell 44.3% to 1,929 tons (while in June it rose 60.8%).
In particular, exports of stainless steel longs faced a fall by 8.3%, wire – 66.7%, seamless tubes – 61.7%, welded tubes – 92.5% and slabs/ingots – 64.0%. In July exports of flats, on the contrary, rose 69.3%.
The structure of Russia's stainless steel exports in July 2013 comprised 43.0% of slabs/ingots (in June - 66.5%), longs – 30.2% (18.4%), flats – 22.0% (7.3%), seamless tubes – 4.4% (6.4%), welded tubes – 0.2% (1.2%) and wire – 0.2% (0.3%).
