Stainless Steel Imports to Russia Beat a Record

According to an expert appraisal by Spetsstal Association, the aggregate volume of stainless steel imports to Russia in 2010, on 2009, rose 78.9% to 196.1 thousand tons. Compared with 2008, which had been a record-breaking year, stainless steel imports increased 9.7%.

The V International Conference ‘Stainless Steel Price – 2011’ will take place in Moscow Radisson Slavanskaya Hotel on 17 Feb 2011. The event will be dedicated to forecasting on changes in prices for stainless steel and related raw materials on the global and Russian markets.

Thirdly,  in December 2010 the Russian government issued an enactment on changing the rates of special duties on imports of stainless steel tubes.
